The brutal murder of George Floyd by US police has sparked international riots and protests.
The number of police killings in the US disproportionately affects African Americans. Despite only making up 13 percent of the US population, Black Americans are two-and-a-half times as likely as white Americans to be killed by the police.
Black Lives Matter. Yes white lives matter too. However saying #BlackLivesMatter is a a response to the systematic killing of African Americans by police in USA.
