    3. Judith Suminwa Tuluka — Prime Minister of the DRC — since June 12, 2024

    4. Samia Suluhu Hassan — President of Tanzania — since March 19, 2021

    5. Robinah Nabbanja — Prime Minister of Uganda — since June 21, 2021

    5 women out of 54 nations isn’t a finish line — it is proof of what’s still possible, and still overdue. Every woman on this list got there a different way: through the ballot box, through the vice presidency, through years of political groundwork most of the world never saw. What they share is that none of them are waiting for permission to lead — they are already doing it.
